Kusatsu Bushi" is renowned for its inviting lyrics, "Kusatsu is a wonderful place, visit at least once."

As the famous song ``Kusatsu Bushi'' begins with, "Kusatsu is a wonderful place, visit at least once." it has been known as a hot spring with excellent medicinal properties since ancient times, and it is said that there is no disease that cannot be cured other than the disease of love.

The temperature of the source water at Kusatsu Onsen is between 50℃ and 90℃, which is so high that you can't just soak in it. For this reason, they are exposed to the outside air at the Yubatake, the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen, and then transported to each inn in Kusatsu while being cooled.

Kusatsu's specialty, "Yumomi", is also done to lower the temperature of the water.

The Yubatake, where 4,000 liters of hot spring water gushes out every minute, is the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen. This is a place you absolutely cannot miss when sightseeing in Kusatsu Onsen.

Everything about Kusatsu Onsen is packed here, including a waterfall where hot water flows out like a waterfall, and a tub where you can get rows of hot water flowers.

The long history of Kusatsu Onsen can be felt in the hot water frame that remains as the place where Tokugawa Yoshimune, the 8th Shogun of the Edo Shogunate, drew hot water from Yubatake when it was transported to Edo.

At night, it is lit up and the impression changes again. There's also a footbath nearby, so it's perfect for a break while sightseeing.

The fun of sightseeing in Kusatsu Onsen is walking around the hot spring town. The hot spring town has a retro Showa atmosphere that gives it a nostalgic yet fresh feel.

What I would like to try is target shooting. It's simple, but you can't help but feel a rush of energy, and the feeling of accomplishment when you get it right is irresistible! There are also many other things that give you a Showa era feel, such as candy shops and smart balls.

Additionally, ``Kusatsu Onsen Rakugo,'' where you can casually enjoy a bit of Rakugo after your meal, is being held at Netsunoyu where you can experience hot water massage.

Since it is a hot spring town, you can find many shops selling hot spring steamed buns. Recommended for tasting and comparing, or as a souvenir!
